Assignment 2

This week, we need to submit assignment 2 which is Photobook. Photobook is the easiest things to do. BUT, to do with creatively is the hardest things. It took a long time to think it and do it with something different. But, I can't give up this time and I do it. Mdm Ling asked us to do 4 template . Many themes given by Mdm Ling and I choose Graduation.

First template we need to put 1 image

Second template we need to put 4 images

For the 3rd one, we need to put 6 images

The last template we need to do creative expression

I done with my assignment and I hope it can be a creative photobook because I already tried hard to done it .

The use of Vector art into Bitmap Editing

Week 7

  For the week 7, Mdm Nazirah showed us some example of vector graphics. She taught us how to import vector graphics from Illustrator to Photoshop without losing any quality. This thing is a new for us and it is important because we can use it when we do for next assignment which is photobook.
  She asked us to form group of four and go to the lab and do some exercise and using all technique that she taught during the lecture.

we just find all the vector things such as book and human at the freepik.com . In freepik.com, we can download all the vector images that we like and it is free! that is important things. So , I will tell the step how to do this things.

1. click the images that you like and download it.
2. open the files using illustrator files.
3. drag the images to photoshop .

Here the easy step if you want to do . Its done !

Week 6 ( Lecture and Tutorial )

Manipulation of Typography with photos

In this slide I'm gonna show all the steps .

1.   Choose 2 images that you like. I use this 2 images for this time.

  

2.   Insert the first picture into Photoshop as Background layer and duplicate the layer.

3.   Next, add a new layer and filled the layer with white between the background layer and background copy layer.

4.   Then, using the Type tool, type in the desired text. Make sure the arrangement of the layers are as followed.

5.   After typing the words , right click on the image copy and choose Create Clipping Mask. This will make the text is appear outside than the background.

6.    Take the second images that you have choose and put it under layer 1 that we have created.

7.   Done with text manipulation using photoshop J.

Even you already done but you still can edit and choose other font that you love.

Week 5 (Tutorial)

Assignment 1 

This week is the submission for assignment 1. The assignment is about editing and manipulating faces in photoshop. There some important step to swap our face.

Firstly , we snap our own face and follow the situation that we choose. 

Like me , i make that face because my subject is chewbacca and its like a warrior.

Week 5 (Lecture)

So, this week Mdm Nazirah give a lecture about editing and retouching faces in Photoshop. Mdm gave an exercise to built up our ability in photoshop. Mdm also asked us to use our own faces to retouching our faces and make our skin more smoothy .

Here the result . This time I cant give a step on how to do it because its too many step . But, what we can see is the color of eye it become more smooth and all pimples is gone . 

Week 4 ( Tutorial )

For this week , Madam ask us to sketch the the idea that we want to use in the assignment 1 which is manipulating our faces with other animals or anything .Firstly I use cristiano ronaldo as my subject.

 But , with Madam Ling respond to our sketch she want us to prevent to swap our faces with human. So, I take that and I change my idea because I don't want lose marks in this assignment. So, I choose chewbacca as my subject. 

Week 4 (Lecture )

Understanding of Digital Photography Editing Techniques and Workflow Process 

There is two type of photography which is Digital Photography and Traditional Photography. Digital Photography is  an array of electronic photodetectors to capture the image focused by the lens.

While, for traditional photography they use a chemical photographic processing to develop and stabilize the image.

In editing, we should use RAW files because it more easy to edit all the things in the picture like colors , exposure and other . 

BENEFITS OF RAW IMAGES

1. Higher image quality
2. Finer Control
3. non destructive file 
4. Include more information
5. Use lossless compression or high quality lossy compresion.
6. More precious may be available in highlight ,shadows, and saturated images .
